One common thing that all golfers must be able to do is to make better contact with their golf ball. If you cannot make good contact then you will not have a good ball flight. This is true with every golf club in your bag, including your putter. This tells us then that we need to practice hitting our golf balls but with the intention of making better contact each and every time. Yes, we need to hit the little ball before we hit the big ball (the earth) haha. Believe it or not, a number of new golfers hit the ground behind the golf ball first, thus resulting in a fat shot, whereas others hit on top of the ball resulting in a topped shot. Beginners are not the only ones to suffer from these golf swing problems. A lot of golfers fail at making contact with their golf balls. If you can hit your ball pure, with the proper face angle, your ball flight will be straighter and you no doubt will gain more distance.
